If you've met any of these characters, you may think I'm a little insane...Well, not quite. I'm reasonably normal in real life, though I suppose you could say that Lyrn and Aouda are extremely exaggerated sides of my personality. Aouda being the jock with limited social capabilities, and Lyrn being the loyal cynic.
I'm a starting post for my school basketball team (And dern proud of it) and involved in art (http://laureng2001.tripod.com has some of my stuff from last year, while http://www.mediaminer.org/fanart/agal.php?id=61032 has a lot of my more recent book-related sketches [when the image hoster decides to actually work, that is]). I tend to enjoy English more than my other classes, and Physics has a tendency to eat my lunch.
Favorite entertainment...hm. My favorite book is Around the World in 80 Days by Jules Verne. As for why, your guess is as good as mine, though it probably has to do with the fact that Phileas Fogg is one of my favorite literary characters. Good Omens, the third Harry Potter book, Jon Stewart's Naked Pictures of Famous People (which, I assure you, has no actual naked pictures -_-;), and Jurassic Park are a few others I enjoy. As for movies, my taste varies about as much as it does for novels. "Die Hard", "Jurassic Park", "Micky Blue Eyes", "Notting Hill", the Lord of the Rings Trilogy (so far, anyway), and "Galaxy Quest" are all great. TV-wise, I stick to "Just Shoot Me' and "Enterprise", Comedy Central, Sci Fi, and that's about it, unless Discovery has something weird about dinosaurs or space exploration on.
